WEDDING CEREMONIES

Without doubt, one of the most memorable days of your life! No two couples are alike and, as such, I will help you to create a unique ceremony to celebrate your love and commitment to each other.

Ceremonies can be as simple or as elaborate as you choose (as long as they meet the minimum legal requirements of course!), as modern or traditional as you feel comfortable with and, most importantly, will be infused with the little things that make you a very special couple.

COMMITMENT CEREMONIES

Commitment Ceremonies are a significant celebration for couples who are either unable to marry under Australian law or who simply wish to acknowledge the importance of their love and commitment to each other in a meaningful way.

As these ceremonies are not legally binding it is not a requirement to have a Civil Celebrant perform them. As such I provide two types of services for Commitment Ceremonies, one is to write and perform the ceremony for you and the other is to write a ceremony for you that can be performed by one of your friends or family members.

RENEWAL OF VOWS

There are many fabulous reasons for holding a Renewal of Vows ceremony. Perhaps you were married overseas and want to re-create some of the magic for your family and friends back home or perhaps you are one of those lucky couples celebrating a significant wedding anniversary and you want to publicly or privately re-affirm your love and commitment to each other after all these years.

I have worked with many couples who are already legally married to create a Renewal of Vows ceremony that celebrates their ongoing devotion to each other. As with the Commitment Ceremonies I'm happy to either write and preside over the proceedings for you or simply help you create a ceremony that can be performed by a family member of friend if you would prefer.

NAMING CEREMONIES

New life brings such joy into the hearts of many and is a real cause for celebration. Naming Ceremonies give families a chance to publicly welcome their new member, acknowledge special people in the baby's life, to ask for support from family and friends and to express their commitment to his or her upbringing.

Again, while not legally binding, these ceremonies are a beautiful way to introduce your baby or child to your wider circle of family and friends and I am happy to either write and perform or simply write your ceremony for you.

FUNERALS

A personal funeral, celebration of a life, or memorial ceremony can be a fitting tribute to the one who has passed away by remembering, acknowledging and celebrating their life and achievements and grieving their passing. It will also provide comfort to those who are bereaved by giving them a time and safe space to acknowledge their grief and loss.An appropriate and personal service can be a comfort and consolation and an important step in the grieving process.

I can meet with you and, with your knowledge of the deceased, write and conduct a ceremony that meets your needs and reflects the attributes of the one whom you have lost.
